Service Description $100 per transmitter $100 per receiver $200 for a pair (SMA antennas included) Sennheiser G2, G3 and G4 wireless bodypack receivers and transmitters are fantastic wireless devices but are prone to having their built-in antennas breaking and wearing out causing weak signal and dropouts. The SK2000XP and EK2000 are very much the same but are a premium version of the G3 series. Much more tuning range, a high-power output mode on the transmitter, a lot of gold plated contact points and a metal battery door. Very rare and nice! A good way to improve on them is called the SMA mod. This requires custom fitting an SMA mount so that a standard SMA antenna can be added. The result is that they perform far better than stock even when in brand new condition. With this mod you get longer range and far stronger signal stability with close to zero drop-outs compared to stock, plus with the convenience of a removable and user replaceable flexible SMA antenna with the ability to connect the device to larger RF antenna systems. Mod wiring is internally soldered with a custom insulated solid hard wire for rigidity and signal strength. No original parts are cut or modified and is 100% reversible if desired. All original antennas and parts are returned with each order. I also include other servicing work for free when required, if any extra parts are required they can also be purchased and installed. Servicing may include: • Loctite 222 on existing 3.5mm jack locking ring to prevent it from loosening and falling off. (Free) • Repairing a cracked or broken top plastic panel.
