Service Description

$90 per transmitter $90 per receiver $180 for a pair (SMA antennas included) VocoPro SilentPA IFB's are a fantastic budget IFB wireless system for use on film and TV sets and in many other situations, while the original antennas generally perform well they can be SMA modded similar to Sennheiser and Sony receivers and transmitters. The VocoPro SilentPA system operates on 900Mhz UHF which requires quite a short SMA antenna and has significant range and latency advantages over 2.4Ghz alternatives, with the SMA modification external antenna systems can be utilised for greater range and performance. I have done several performance and range tests with these units to see is the SMA mod improves performance, I can honestly say that I didn't experience any noticeable performance improvements compared to stock where the improvements in Sennheiser and Sony devices is very noticeable. Mod wiring is internally soldered direct from the SMA socket pin to the motherboard with no cables required. No original parts are cut or modified and is 100% reversible if desired. All original antennas and parts are returned with each order.

Turnaround time is usually 1-2 days. Free pick up and drop off in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia. Australia Post express postage from Melbourne to Sydney is usually a day or two.
